Incorrect Order and Poor Service: Hi, my sister and I ordered two tidal wave smoothies with mango that we’ve ordered multiple times at this location. We’ve come here at least twice a month for years and we’ve never had any issues. We came back in today because they didn’t taste like they had mango, nor did it look like they had mango. When we’ve ordered these in the past the smoothies were green, not bright blue like they were today (which is what they look like without the mango, I know because I’ve ordered them without mango before). I brought the smoothies back and told the employees I’m really sorry for coming back but the smoothies don’t taste like they have much mango in them. I work in a restaurant. I know it’s frustrating to remake food but for the price and considering the smoothies have a noticeable protein taste in them I felt it was only right that I try to get them fixed. The primary reason I add the mango is to disguise that protein taste, which was fully apparent in the smoothie I received today. I kindly asked them if they could simply add more mango into these or remake them. Every employee stared at me and the one girl who I believe made them said she did put ma

This review is solely for the service. This has been my açaí place for years. However today I arrived just a few minutes before closing (attempted ordering ahead but realized I’d arrive really close to closing). Upon arrival the staff was clearly wrapping up for the night. Understandable it’s Saturday everyone’s ready to go. However as I approached the register I was told it had already been counted and they were closed. I was crushed, about 4 employees just stood looking at me as i checked the time 9pm on the dot! I work in retail so I understand the importance of closing out the business but closing your registers before the doors ? Not only is that not safe but it’s ridiculous!

What a great experience my wife and I had at this location. The employees were kind and attentive and we even met the owner Danielle who was very pleasant and made our time at Playa Bowls that much better with her recommendations. Everything was delicious! We will definitely be back soon!

Just tried for first time and will definitely be returning! Tried the protein power bowl for myself and ordered the Nutella bowl for my daughter we both loved so much! Place was very clean and staff very friendly as well. Great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend trying!
